Witcher 3 Dev Says There's No Enhanced Edition Coming [UPDATE]

By Dr. Elara Vance | January 01, 0001

Update: PR for CD Projekt royally rummy RED says “There’s no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of, this is some kind of error rummy 365 that we will look into.” So. Original post: It’s probably too soon to know what this means, but a pair of European store websites have posted listings for an “enhanced edition” of The Witcher 3, with a February release date. French retailere-Leclerc and Belgian store Smartoys have both posted the listing (via NeoGAF, as usual), and neither says royally rummy anything about what would be enhanced in this version of the game, nor any other real info at all beyond a February 5 release date.cnx.cmd.push(function(){cnx({"playerId":"e3616d04-4972-4839-a63a-c6975e2e9731","settings":{"advertising":{"macros":{"AD_UNIT":"/23178111854/od.kotaku.com/article","CHILD_UNIT":"article","POST_ID":"1752100155","POST_TYPE":"post","CHANNEL":"uncategorized","SECTION":"","SUBSECTION":"","CATEGORIES":"uncategorized","TAGS":"","NOP":"0"},"timeBeforeFirstAd":0}}}).render("cnx-player-main")}); Both previous Witcher titles received enhanced editions that made significant changes to how they played, and added new content—and they were free to existing owners and thus functioned as particularly beefy patches. The Witcher 3 was obviously a completely different sort of production from the previous two games, however, so whether it has any need of an update worthy of being called “enhanced edition” is certainly up for debate. That said, an enhanced edition for The Witcher 3 would hardly be surprising rummy 365 given series tradition, and the second paid DLC, Blood and Wine, remains unreleased and without a rummy 51 scheduled date. A Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition could be an all-inclusive package released alongside Blood and Wine akin to new copies of Destiny purchased since its Taken King expansion hit last year, or a standard “game of the year” edition bundle. Sometimes I wish there were more ways to earn rewards through loyalty programs or frequent player bonuses. Adding seasonal events or special challenges could enhance the excitement even further. The payout process is generally smooth and reliable, though occasionally it takes longer than expected. Overall, I feel confident that my winnings are safe and will be credited properly.
